The microstructure and factors of the bulk carbon resources were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and discipline emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM). The development mechanisms from the four sugar-derived carbon elements inside the presence of hydrogel are systematically reviewed and the impact of different sugar resources on the final
